You know spring is in the air when the Dyngus Day Parade applications are being accepted!
From the parade organizers:
It’s not too early to make your Dyngus Day Parade plans! This year, Dyngus Day falls on Monday, April 22. As usual, the Parade will begin at 5 pm, with line-up beginning at 12 noon.
Applications for the parade are ready now and can be found at DyngusDay.com. Every entry needs to fill one out and either email or snail mail it to me so I can include you in the line-up.
Last year’s Parade was record-breaking and with the late date – and (hopefully) nice weather this year, it’s anyones guess as to how huge and exciting things can get!
So……call your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, or even yourself, and make plans to be a part of the biggest event of the year! Remember to be creative, present your pussy willows, and display your Polish pride! All are invited because “Everyone is Polish on Dyngus Day”!
