Open Buffalo is bringing back Climbing PoeTree for their third year running!
The event takes place on Saturday October 6th, 7 to 9 PM at the Matt Urban Center for this FREE PERFORMANCE of dual-voice spoken word, backed with infectious beats and multimedia theater.
Alixa Garcia and Naima Penniman form the award-winning duo, exploring diverse themes as artists and activists that infuse our movements for justice with healing and imagination.
Through the support of the Oishei Foundation, this event is free and open to the public — all are welcome. Light refreshments will also be provided.
