I was sad to hear the news that Renee Baczysnki (she is in the middle of the picture above) passed away this week. Baczynski Meats is on my list of all time Broadway Market favorites. Pani Bacyznski was always a warm friendly face at the market. She truly appreciated that you chose to shop at her stand. After I was a regular at her stand, she would occasionally throw an extra pound of kielbasa my way. If the stand wasn’t busy, she loved to talk. Baczynski Meat’s kielbasa, kabanosy and pork chops are some of the best I ever had. I can’t find a place that makes kabanosy like she did. She helped make the Broadway Market a cool and endearing place to me. Rest in peace, Pani.

Age 81, of the Town of Wheatfield, died peacefully November 27, 2017. She was the owner and operator of Baczynski Meats in the Broadway Market, retiring in 2006. She was the wife of the late Josepf Baczynski. Beloved mother of Kathleen (Keith) Cummings; grandmother of Sarah and Erin Cummings. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Wednesday from 4 – 8 P.M.
