AM-POL Eagle: Location helped Liberty Florist bloom

Today when you need flower arrangements you can stop off at the Country Florist and Elaine’s Flower Shop, or even ordering them online with Pro Flowers, but for nearly a century one of the best places to buy your pretty petals was from the Liberty Florist at 1462 Broadway.

Before Victoria Maciwoda opened the Liberty Florist shop across from St. John Kanty Church in 1917, the building on the corner of Broadway and Koons had already lived an interesting life. Read full story on the AM-POL Eagle—>
