St. Adalbert Basilica to host Am-Pol Eagle Citizens of the Year Awards at Feast Day Mass

The Feast of St. Adalbert will celebrated with a Mass on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 5:30 PM at St. Adalbert Basilica. The Am-Pol Eagle will also honor its 2016 Citizens of the Year after the Mass.

This is a great opportunity to worship at St. Adalbert Basilica. The church is only open for Mass a handful of times of year. It’s also a great opportunity to show support for the Am-Pol Eagle newspaper and the people in the community they are honoring with their annual awards.

Refreshments & Coffee provided by St. Adalbert/St. John Kanty parish community.

The honorees are: Business – Ru’s Pierogi; Community Leader (non-Pole) – Stratton Rawson; Culture – Marion Pockalny; Education – Przemyslaw (P.J.) Moskal, Ph.D.; Heritage – Barbara Ruppert; Individual in Organizations – Christine Kibler; Media – Paula Witherell; Military/Veterans – Ted Kniazuk; Music – Kathleen Pawlak; Religion – Sister Christine Songin; Youth – Elizabeth Kubiniec; and Special Recognition – Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
