UPDATED: Public Meeting on Buffalo Train Station Tuesday, March 21

UPDATED – 03/06/2017

New date for public Amtrak Station Meeting.

Tues. March 21, 2017 – 5:00-7:00PM

A Public Open House at the Buffalo Museum of Science on March 21st from 5-7PM. See attached flyer

Parsons Brinckerhoff has created the agenda:

First 30 minutes or so:
· Introduction by the Mayor
· Process Review by Bob Shibley
· Presentation by consultant team (similar to the Stakeholder Committee presentation)
Remaining 90 minutes or so:
· Opportunity for public to visit stations and ask questions/provide comments.

The presentation will be set up for the public to review each of the locations that have been previously discussed.

Please attend if you would like to have an opportunity to see the performance metrics that were presented to the committee last week.

The following was published on Buffalo Rising yesterday.

From Buffalo Rising:

Come hear what consultants from WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff have determined so far. The group was brought aboard by the NYS Department of Transportation to provide technical advice for the selection committee. They will discuss test fits (station, site, platform and track) at each of the vying locations.

Purportedly, the final decision for site location will be made at the end of March, so we’re getting close.
