Ludowa Nuta, Polish Canadian Folk Choir at Saint John Kanty Sunday

From Saint John Kanty’s Facebook event page:

At this Mass and as part of Saint Jo 125th Anniversary celebration we are pleased to have the well known Polish Canadian Folk Choir of Hamilton, Ludowa Nuta, provide music. The goal of Ludowa Nuta, as explained by director Vick Dudalski, is to promote Polish folk music. Their colorful, traditional costumes are all made in Poland and the chorus is accompanied by a typical Góralska Kapela which includes violins, double bass, koza and trombity (come to Mass to find out more about these instruments!).

During Mass Deacon Rick, as part of our weekly Advent series, will present “We as a parish need to take our talents and share them. How do we encourage each other to work with the Response to Love Center, St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy and the Mother Teresa Home to show our Christian spirit?”

Following Mass our annual Christmas Cookie & Placek Sale and basket raffle continues. Available for purchase will be Alice’s Famous BBQ burgers and chili, eat in or to go. Ludowa Nuta will also be singing some traditional songs at this time.
