(By Elizabeth Carey) At 271 feet, Buffalo’s Central Terminal towers over the city’s East Side. Despite being vacant for decades, it’s described by many as majestic, though Fillmore District Common Council Member David Franczyk refers to it as “a rhino sitting in your living room.”
The massive, 64-acre site can’t be ignored, he said.
“It’s one of Buffalo’s best buildings, and people relate to it, more so than even a Frank Lloyd Wright,” he said.
