YOU are Invited to a Community Presentation detailing findings from a Community Assessment Report
that focused on the revitalization of the two Fillmore Corridor neighborhood business districts of Broadway-Fillmore and Martin Luther King.
Teresa Lynch, one of the two Main Street® specialists who participated in the Assessment Visit (which occurred June 8-11, 2015) and authored the follow-up report, will:
- Describe present status of Fillmore Forward, the Fillmore Corridor organization charged with managing revitalization activities for both the MLK and Broadway-Fillmore commercial districts.
- Introduce members of the Fillmore Forward board as well as committee volunteers who have already signed on to help.
- Present Assessment Report observational highlights and recommendations which will form the basis for a work plan undertaken by Fillmore Forward’s four volunteer committees.
- Explain the Main Street Four Point Approach® to downtown and neighborhood business district revitalization.
- Allow for a Question and Answer period to get comments and respond to questions from the audience.
