Want to Help St. Stan’s, Corpus Christi and Saint John Kanty this Easter Season?

The churches of East Buffalo’s Historic Polonia are the epicenter of Polish culture in Western New York. They struggle paying their bills–especially during the winter season. After I read a Buffalo News story about how  the winter has impacted the finances of some the neighborhood churches, a light bulb went off above my head. I decided to start a t-shirt fundraiser. The Easter season brings out the Polish Pride in everyone. The shirt features a buffalo with Polish colors and has the words “Polska Buffalo” under it. I don’t know how much money can be raised. But I do know that any amount will help.

The proceeds from this sale will be split evenly between Corpus Christi, Saint John Kanty/Saint Adalbert’s and Saint Stan’s. It is way to help these neighborhood treasures and get yourself a cool t-shirt to help celebrate your Polish Pride during the Easter season and on Dyngus Day.

The t-shirt campaign will end in about 18 days. This will ensure that you will receive your shirt during Holy Week.

Please share this with your friends and family. There is no better way to celebrate our shared Polish culture than to support our churches that our ancestors built. Thank you!!!

      1. Couldn’t you sell some at the Broadway Market? I was at Wegman’s looking for the shirts they usually sell and was disappointed to see that they don’t have any. You apparently could raise a lot of money if you allow this to expand.

        1. Hi Sandie,

We are not-for-profit and this was the most cost effective way we could do this without any start-up money.

          1. So why not keep up the (really exciting) momentum you’ve created? The article was talking about tens of thousands of dollars being needed.

  2. KUDOs to whomever came up with this highly creative idea and implemented it – what a great way to raise some needed funds and to create a ‘critical mass’ of interest!

  3. I just received my Am-Pol Eagle in the mail today and would like to order a T shirt. Are you all sold out. If not I would like to order one. Do they come in different sizes?

  4. I would really like to buy a tee shirt. It doesn’t matter if it takes longer than a week or two to receive it. Any chance you could continue the sale?

    1. The company is sending them out by the end of the week. You should have received a confirmation email from Teechip.com with all the details and tracking info.
