When I look at old pictures of Sattler’s, it is kind of hard to envision an Aldi and an old Kmart building in its place and makes me wonder how life was in East Buffalo’s Historic Polonia back in the 1940s.
I worked at Sattler’s 36 years and was last man out when we closed in March 1983 , Started as a window trimmer and finished up Visual Merchandising Director of all stores …Great memories !
