From Adam Mickiewicz Library & Dramatic Circle’s Facebook page:

Great job and thanks to all who made our second annual Forefathers’ Eve a great celebration of our tradition of Dzien Zaduszny. Thanks to Michael Snyder , the Warlock, Gary J Ptak for a perfect set, Matt Biehl for the projection that put the staging over the edge and Winthrop D. Allen III for being a great ghost. Thanks to Beverly Mclean for bringing food too and to all who attended. Good time!!!!!

And thank you most of all to Amy Smardz, who performed all the parts other than the Warlock! Fabulous reading and wonderful exposition afterward.

About Forefather’s Eve:

A dramatic reading and staging of excerpts of A. Mickiewicz’s Forefathers’ Eve Part II. Peasants conjure spirits to allow them passage into heaven. Just in time to celebrate All Souls’ Day. One of the great pieces of European Romanticist poetry and only performed in our area in the Theatre that bears Mickiewicz’s name.
