The 34th Annual Dożynki Polish Harvest Festival at Corpus Christi Church

Festival to Feature Special Polka Mass, Pierogi Contest, Polish Food, Music and more

The 34th annual Dożynki Polish Harvest Festival at Corpus Christi Church in Buffalo, New York will take place on August 16, 17 and 18.  The word Dożynki means a celebration of harvest and is a centuries old tradition by farmers in rural Poland.

This is the largest festival in East Buffalo’s Historic Polonia. The weekend long celebration will include traditional Polish food, music and drink.  Festival highlights include the 6th Annual Buffalo’s Best Pierogi Contest on Saturday, August 17 at 4:30pm, heritage vendors, and the Harvest Mass on Sunday, August 19 at 11:30am featuring polka and folk music.

The festival opens on Friday, August 16 at 5:30 and closes on Sunday, August 18 at 7pm.

Corpus Christi Church was founded in 1898 and is located in the heart of East Buffalo’s Historic Polonia.
