Through years of decline and through good times and bad, the neighborhood church bells are a reminder that there is hope. A lot of things from the neighborhood are gone…homes, businesses, etc. Though some of B-F’s churches have disappeared over time, a lot of them still remain.
I shot this video earlier today. It reminded me of when I was a child in B-F. The symphony of bells is as reassuring now as it was when I was young. They are the sounds of hope.
