Celebrate the Polish Constitution of May 3 at the Library !

Whatever day May 3rd falls on, the Adam Mickiewicz Library & Dramatic Circle, Inc. hosts a get together to toast the Constitution at the Library.

The May 3rd Constitution of 1791 was the second liberal Constitution of a major country in the world and cause for celebration for years to come for Polish people around the world.

Over the last 20 years, the date has seen celebrations in Poland and Polish American communities grow.

The party starts at 7pm.

At 10 p.m. we will watch a new film about Irena Sendler, the Polish Catholic woman who saved thousands of Jewish children from the Nazis at the same time it airs on WNED-TV. More info. about the film at: http://www.pbs.org/programs/irena-sendler/
