The Broadway Market is looking to connect with families, individuals and groups to become plot owners of the first-ever Broadway Market Roof Garden. The Market will provide 16′ to 25′ square foot container gardens, compost, soil and water, as well as educational workshops on seed starting, when and what to plant, testing soil, natural fertilizers, integrated pest management, extending the growing season, and pickling and canning.
Owners will also have the option to sell their harvest at The Broadway Market’s new Farmers’ Market coming on Sundays starting May 23rd.
What a wonderful idea for the market to incorporate. The changes there over the last few months are very noticeable.
