Commemorate Poland’s Constitution on Monday, May 3rd

This Monday, May 3, the Adam Mickiewicz Library and Dramatic Circle will host its annual “Raise a Toast to the Polish Constitution” at 6:00 pm.

Come enjoy a Polish beverage, hear why the constitution was important and enjoy catching up with people.

The May 3rd, 1791 Constitution was the first liberal constitution in Europe and the second in the world, after the Constitution of the United States.

Over the last 20 years the date has seen celebrations in Poland and Polish American communities grow.
