Polish Pizza?!?!

By Christopher Byrd | April 14, 2009

An asbsolute HIT last night at Corpus Christi’s Dyngus Day party was the Polish pizza!

This hand-tossed delight was incredible.

There were three varieties I believe…kielbasa…gołąbki…pierogi!  All loaded with POLISH goodness.

When I first heard of the idea, I thought CC was just going to slap some kielbasa on traditional za and that would be it…nope, my fellow parishioners went all out…these things were gourmet quality specialty pizzas the likes I have never eaten before!

Heck, I think these may just have brought my brother back to the Catholic Church.

Yum…

Looks like St. Patty’s Day pizza to me. Somewhere it lost its green color by the time it got to me. And it did taste better than it sounds. Thanks to the kitchen crew at Corpus Christi.

Andy, I will have to have you over for dinner to prove that Italian cooking is so much better than Polish. I mean real Italian not Chefs or Chef Boyardee. My husband used to eat Chef Boyardee when we first met. I made him choose either me or the canned pasta. Luckily it was me. LOL.
