Max Poultry closes up shop at the Broadway Market

By Christopher Byrd | May 3, 2008

Max PoultryAnother vendor has closed up shop at the Broadway Market…

MAX Poultry had been in business for over 55 years -located formerly in the old Washington Market…the last 30 years in the Broadway Market.

Owner Arnie Obstein specialized in the Wholesale and retail sale of meats, eggs, restaurant supplies and (of course) chicken.

They will be missed…

I hope the market management will try to get another food vender in that stand

The Broadway Market has really gone down the tubes the last few years. I don’t know if it because people refuse to shop there outside of easter or poor management. One would think that this Buffalo institution could not fail.
