May Crowning at St. Ann’s – Sunday May 4

Saint Ann’s

Saint Ann’s Church and Shrine begins the month of May with the traditional crowning of the Blessed Mother. The annual ceremony will take place at the beginning of Mass on Sunday, May 4 at 10 AM.

As the month of May sees spring’s full force of warmth and growth with the return of the bright sun and beautiful flowers, we recall the hope given to the world when the Virgin Mary, the “Mystical Rose” answered God’s call giving us the “Brightness of Eternal Life,” Our Lord Jesus. Giving Himself up for us on the Cross, He also gave us His own Mother.

Join us as we crown the Mother of the Risen Lord, the Queen of Heaven and Earth, a reminder of her gentle and maternal reign over our beloved parish and our hearts.

Mother Mary, daughter of our patroness St. Ann, pray for us!
