Buffalo News: Housing case nears end as ex-church gets upgrades

City officials Thursday confirmed the completion of needed repairs on the eight majestic altar windows at the former Transfiguration Church, prompting a judge to foresee a likely end to the 15-year-old Housing Court case this spring.
City Building Inspector Tracy Krug confirmed completion of the court-ordered work on the 25-foottall windows. William F. Trezevant, whose nonprofit organization owns the landmark Sycamore Street structure, also assured the court he has contracted for snow removal this winter and landscaping in the spring.
