Mary moves into a vacant lot on Clark Street

With a some help from Eric Fox of Fox Tire and the dedicated group of volunteers at Corpus Christi, the vacant lot between the Kolbe Center and old Urban Funeral home has new life.

Mr. Fox recently donated a number of trees to plant in the neighborhood and he owns the lot.

Working together with Corpus Christi, a number of trees were planted on this lot and over the last week, a statue of Holy Mary and Jesus was placed in the center.

It helps fill a void in the block between Kent Street and Paderewski Drive illustrating what a little innovation and working together can achieve with a vacant lot.

More will be done with the lot to spruce it up in the coming year.

Very cool!
