Today we actually starting filming our documentary, We started around Central Terminal and I found out from a 45 yr resident that the streets around the Terminal are considered the original “Polonia” and was referred to as “The Island”
I have immense respect for Marc & Jay of Whatever Productions they are true professionals and made us feel at ease! Tomorrow we will heading to the West Side and wrapping up the filming and in the next few weeks it should be ready to premiere!
We are focusing on house flipping and what effect it has had on already struggling neighborhoods.
In other news its good to read about the renewed interest in the Broadway Fillmore area, I always say active homeowners can take back their streets and they are! Although I believe landbanking is the only viable solution for some streets there are many other areas in the district that just need a helping hand and thats exactly what we are trying to do!
